Brittany Murphy's mom shared a bed with Simon Monjack

This story is creepy and sad...

According to TMZ, the L.A. County Coroner released the report on the death of Simon Monjack, the late Brittany Murphy's late hubby (does that make sense?).  In the report, it is stated that Sharon Murphy, Brittany's mom (who found them both dead), pointed to one side of Simon's bed and told the investigator that was "her side".  There were also prescription meds on "her" nightstand with the names "Sharon Murphy" and "Sharon Monjack".

Before you jump to conclusions, the report does not suggest there was a sexual relationship between Sharon and her late son-in-law.  I assume that Sharon was (and probably still is) so distraught over the death of her daughter, she wanted to sleep where Brittany had once slept.  If that was the reason behind her action, I find that so heartbreaking, but yet...  I find it both creepy and inappropriate on the other hand- she's sleeping next to her son-in-law.

If you recall, Sharon moved in with Simon after Brittany passed away.
