Kate Middleton is a breath of fresh air...

I cannot being to tell you how much I adore Kate Middleton.  Yes, she's living every girl's dream, but it's more than that.

It seems there are quite a few articles on her regarding her wardrobe and how she "recycles" her clothing- wearing items multiple times to different events.  Um, hello???  Isn't that what we all do???  We have clothes in our closet, and if you're like me, you wear each item more times than you can count for different outfits until the thing either shrinks, rips, or fades.  Not all of us are filthy rich and can afford to wear an item once and then toss it.  We're not all Kardashians who probably wouldn't be caught dead being photographed in an outfit twice.

What the tabloids seem to forget is that Kate was a commoner.  She was a chick who had a regular job and a regular social life just like any one of us.  I find it quite refreshing that she hasn't let her new lifestyle spoil her.  I applaud her buying (relatively) affordable clothing and getting multiple uses out of each piece.  She obviously is a grounded person who is not easily changed by an upgrade in status.  This type of person is extremely rare and instead of running stories being surprised or even appalled that she isn't wearing Dolce & Gabbana with Prada shoes, we should applaud her rejecting of materialism being a real role model for girls.
