Congrats to the happy couple.
"Mark-Paul Gosselar and I are engaged!"
"Mark who?"
"Mark-Paul Gosselar."
"Uuuuuhhhh..."
"Zack Morris."
"Oh... OH! That's cool. But, I always thought you were more of a Slater lover."

When the tides turn in celebrity relationships...
Some celebrity relationships fail because one spouse is more successful than the other, but sometimes- just sometimes- it can work out. But what happens when the tides turn and the other becomes more successful?
I've began to ponder this when a friend shared a story with me of when she recently spotted Jennie Garth at the Glendale Galleria in Glendale, California. According to my buddy, Jennie isn't looking to well these days and seems to be letting herself go... She's gained at least 30 pounds, her lips are way too pouty from injections, and has zero control over her kids (which could be simply because they are spoiled celebrity spawn).
If you don't know, Jennie has been married to Peter Facinelli since 2001 and together since 1996, which is practically a lifetime in Hollywood. It's pretty fair to say that Jennie was the breadwinner at the beginning of their marriage. However, her star has been overshadowed the last few years due to the huge success of the "Twilight" series and her husband being perpetually known as "Dr. Carlisle Cullen". Jennie attempted to revive her career with a reoccurring role on the new 90210, but that lasted all about one second. So then, what is a Hollywood wife to do?
Now, I'm not saying Jennie has any issues with Peter becoming a huge part of a pop culture phenomenon- it's simply speculation based on hundreds of other instances with celebrity ex-couples.
I would think that a couple that works in the same industry would have a complete understanding of the professional demands that are set forth. But that takes patience and common sense- the latter seems to be lacking in Hollywood anyway. I don't quite understand the fascination with celebrity marriages and I don't think I ever will.
But at least now I know that even celebrity kids misbehave in public.
